Anemia has nothing to do with it. And "thin" blood may be a euphenism for what I'm about to tell you. It may be that you have a low platelet count. Platelets are one of the elements in our blood that promotes coagulation and scab formation. And/or it may be that you have fragile capillaries, sometimes caused by vitamin C deficiency. Frequent use of aspirin and aspirin-containing products has an anticoagulant effect on the blood and can result in easy bruising. If the bruisng is a problem, see your health care provider for a physical exam and blood tests to rule out a more serious condition and to determine a diagnosis. Your health care provider will advise you based on exam and lab results. Take care.

Are you on high blood pressure medication, or do you take aspirin on a regular basis? Both of these things can thin your blood and make you bruise easily. If you don't do either of these things, it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask your physician, there are some blood diseases that may cause the blood to be thinner than normal. If you blood is very thin, this can be a risk for you, so get checked out.Take care of you...

you may also be vitamin defecient, that usually is the cause of weak capillaries.

anemic! these people are idiots. You're fine. just get more of the regular Vitamns C, D, K ect.

i to bruise easily,my doctor told me because of anemia from which i have had for years,take iron tablets,eat liver ,grapes are also good ,there are many other ways to stop anemia.ask your doctor,from mikhal in israel.

You are probably anemic and need to take iron supplements.

ASIDE THE FACT YOU MIGHT BE ANEMIC, IT CAN ALSO BE HEREDITARY. IRON SUPPLEMENTS WILL CONSTIPATE THE HECK OUT OF YOU. TRY EATING MORE BEANS(LIMA, GARBANZO, SOY) , RED MEAT.
