the important thing is to AVOID mineral oil and to avoid animal products in your ingredients.... i use ARBONNE ... and i am not selling you the product but they are really amazing... i entered this site: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com and read all about them and asked for some samples .... and my face skin is extreamly oily but my body (knees, feet, elbows) are really dry... so i used their samples for only less than a week and saw a huge difference... their products are botanically based and without mineral oil which is the 2nd worse thing we could do to our skin, it will be like rubbing car oil and exposing yourself to the sun.... all the fine lines are caused 1 by sun and 2 mineral oil the statistics are 90% sun and 10% mineral oil....

Jergens! I stayed in california during the christmas season. Due to the dry weather, my skin got so dry and painful! I've been a faithful user of The Body Shop's body butters, but it didn't help my skin condition much. My sister recomended me Jergens, and I tried it for 2 weeks. I applied it everytime after my bath. It help to hydrate and soothe my skin, and the results are amazing! As compared with The Body Shop body butters, it's not that greasey and it's affordable too! You must try it! It's must have for everyone!

Creams or body butters work better for me in winter. Avon has a planet spa one that works very well. they have several others too. Also if on a tight budget-go to your local dollar store and get a good lotion(they sell brand names to) and mix a little vaseline in with it in your hands to help make it thicker without being greasey. Put it on 2x a day.

The best ones for feet I kid you not are olive oil! At night rub some oil on your feet, put paper tissue on them all over, and then put socks on, and do this always b4 going to bed. It's also good for the complexion (very little though).

Another good one is Cocoa Butter Cream for body, and Lubriderm.

If you really can't afford these above, then try conditioner from the Dollar store, just as good and smells pretty too.

I don't have a favorite lotion but I use oil when I shave and it keeps my skin feeling like silk! It's awesome in every way because I never breakout or get razor burn and it smells so good! Check it out!

ANYTHING with Shea Butter for sure. I know, because I have severely dry skin too. That helped me even during my winter trip to Arizona!!

I like Cetaphyl. It is absorbed better than some lotions, yet provides a day's worth of moisture.

I love Moisturel. In my experience, it beats any Vaseline products hands down. I am curious about Olay's Quench that someone else mentioned, though.

I think bathing in honey helps with that. I know it is super sticky but shower after. Also moisturizing bath bead could help. Try Burt's Bees moisturizer too.

The physical therapy clinic I used to work for always used Lubriderm.
