I am half Nigerian and african american and whenever Nigerians, including family in Nigeria treat me like i am some sort of freak or somthing lol

African culture is very nepostitic and family centered. everything is based on FAMILY, where you can live, what you can eat, even where you can sleep, how you relate to others in your group. This is Africa at its most traditional and elemental.
So, since you are only half Nigeran, you do not correctly fit into this network of relationships and social customs and that makes them uncomfortable.
Plus, they may also resent that you are not a pure African. American blacks, though their prior enslavement, have experienced quite a bit of admixture with whites and Native Americans...hope this helps.

I don't know. Many other nationalities are like that. I guess they feel like they are losing "thier people."
