I think Houston will be forced to throw the ball more often...giving Carr more of a chance to connect with one of their crappy receivers.

Or do you think he is not even worth a start? By the way, my other choice is Aaron Brooks! Which is the lesser of two terribles?

Carr's value will go down...opposing defenses will be concentrating on the pass until/unless one of the Houston RBs can prove hey can run.

Even with Davis, I think Brooks would be the lesser of two evils.

I think Carr's value goes down. If the defense doesn't have to respect the run then Carr will be on his back more than Paris Hilton this year. Go with Brooks. He has Moss and a running game. Also smack yourself for putting yourself in such a horrible position at QB.

No, for two reasons. First, Lundy could prove to be a great fill in at RB for the Texans, in which case defenses would need to adjust to help stop him (this actually WOULD help Carr's value). If they can't run, they'll have to pass and defenses will play to stop the pass and force Houston to run.

Brooks has never been very consistent, but he does have Jordan at RB and Moss at WR, so he's got weapons at both positions.

Do not start David Carr as your fantasy quarterback unless you are in a very deep, AFC-only league. Please, for the sake of all things football.

Go Pick up Chris Simms or even Jon Kitna. Go and go now!

Nooooo - Carr will face blitz, blitz, blitz, because they won't be able to run. Expect Carr to havea Very Very Bad Day. Without the establishment of the run, they can blitz or they can drop back extra LB's to to cover. Don't do it....Carr is going to bomb.

no it doesnt cuz their system is runningback freindly n Wally Lundy has had good showings.
if anything it prolly makes it worse cuz last year most of his passes went to DD, n this year Waklly Lundy doesnt have the hands DD had.
But i still think he is better than Brooks.
