My EX broke up with me two months ago after the long-term relationship but both of us will see one another at the wedding coming up soon. It will be a very difficult day. I have taken the steps to move on but I'm afraid that this wedding will set me back to day one after the break up and I don't want to go through the same emotions again. How should I approach this day and is it worth talking to my EX if I am approached?
Thanks

Maybe you should rethink about going to the wedding ... or if you have to attend maybe have someone go with you for support during that situation.

I can only imagine how difficult this will be for you. Unfortunately, wedding ceremonies tend to bring out all our emotions anyway. The best advice I can offer is to remain cordial, exercise self control, keep busy with other relatives/family members. I'm not saying blatantly avoid your ex, but it might be a good idea to avoid lingering in your ex's presence.

Just be polite. Don't offer information about your current life, and if he asks, answer very generally. Why are you so concerned and sure it will be "difficult"? Go and enjoy the wedding and hang around with those who make you happy. You control your own feelings and your destiny.
