Neither, Gordon Brown is a wimp. He has done nothing for the economy, his first job was to grant independence to the Bank of England thus ending his role in deciding monetary policy. After this ALL he has done is progressively Tax the UK's output more and more. Then he stole half of the private pension provision of the UK's peoples private savings. Now we ALL have to work longer to recieve less. The theiving lying criminal!

The only reason that we are not in a massively deep recession is because of the banks policy of low interest rates and the nation duely obliging by getting massively into debt.

We have borrowed our way out of recession and this is clearly unsustainable.

Gordon Brown has clearly supported EVERY disastrous policy that Blair has introduced, including Iraq and ID cards, the limits on our liberties and now we have hospitals and schools in crisis. the Army overstretched, immigration out of control, crime rising, violence and delinquency rising. Every major indicator of how the Government has performed has seen failure.

Gordon Brown has been equally to blame as Bair for this.

It's a bit late of Gordon Brown to grow a backbone!! It's only doing it now because he was to definitely get made leader, but he has decided to not comment on the important issues - ie Iraq.

He is arrogant and prevaricating. He dominates an interview with his total arrogance and non answering of questions.
Hopefully, he will not get the top job.
