If you have never replaced a windshield like this and you do not do it for a living, then PLEASE leave it to a professional. I don't mean to say that you are not smart enough or anything like that. As it said in one of the previous answers, windshields in modern cars are actually a structural part of the body of the car. That is made possible due to the strength of urethane auto glass sealant. Urethane sealants usually have special primers and very specific procedures that must be followed in order for the windshield/sealant system to comply with certain Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards(FMVSS). If a windshield is improperly installed, then in an accident it may not perform its intended safety function. Worst case scenario........someone could lose their life. Please take your vehicle to qualified and certified auto glass installer. Make sure they use original quality glass and any primers that are recommended by their urethane manufacturer.

Its a glue-in, so have a professional do it. Just call your dealer or if you can find a glass shop with one they can obtain, get it there.
