That is your full womb!

Right about that time your uterus starts coming to the surface and everything else starts moving up and out of the way, so the hardness you feel is your uterus. It is normal. I am 32 weeks and it has felt like that the entire time. Your probably going to have a little basketball belly instead of a watermelon belly. By the way I have a basketball belly and its a girl! So good luck. But you could be bloated or constipated. Drink lots of water and try something like Maloxx for the bloating, it is pregnancy approved.

(Sorry Misty,) this is not a full womb. The womb does not rise out of the pelvis until approximately 12 weeks, therefore it is not palpable (you can't feel it). To be able to feel your womb in this area would indicate a pregnancy of 18-20 weeks. So, either your dates are wrong, you have a multiple pregnancy such as twins or you have a problem. If the lump is on just the left side are you constipated? It is probably worth seeing your doctor to exclude somethins serious.

This is completely normal, and you will be bloated. Though baby is still very small, the tissues of your endometrium, or uterine lining, are very congested with blood, and your uterus will have already increased in size quite a bit. Everything is moving up, including your intestines. Good luck to you!

At 9 weeks I had a pregnancy confirmed by a doctor just by external examination. When you lie on your back you can feel a hardness just coming above your pubic bone.
Check your doctor if you are worried at all.

Is it to one side or the center of your belly? This would be a good question to call and ask you doctor about.
