Im a big Villa fan myself and im hoping for a finish somewhere between 5th and 8th and a european spot, but if we dont achieve that this year it wont be the end of the world because with these new funds available and the best manager in the league its only a matter of time before we a watching Champions league football down Villa Park. The players at the moment are exactly the same as last years relegation strugglers but now with O'neill they look like a new team, things are looking good for the first time in years. UP THE VILLA.

hopefully much better than last season but do not get carried away just yet. we will see more new faces in january then we may just suprise a few people. gareth barry should play on the left side of the england team now sven has gone he may get a place in the squad.

well of course with martin o neill they will improve. but its not all about the manager and their position wont improve drastically. however if their defence is as good as what it was at arsenal i feel that they will be in the top 10 or possibly pushing for a UEFA cup spot, especially if they bring in new talent.
