I dunno, I'm sort of enjoying it at present. If you take pop culture worship seriously, there's surely a new circle of hell reserved for you.
Personally, I like watching these people. I like casually observing it... for the same reason a lot of people watch NASCAR... because you know the crash and burn is inevitable.
Everybody loves a good train wreck. Come on... you can't tell me that Tom Cruise hasn't gotten at least one laugh out of you in the last year. He's a frickin' nutbar. It's hysterical.
The way I figure, there are two options:
A) Hear about what these morons do... and bash your head into a wall out of frustration at their idiocy.
B) Hear about what these morons do... and laugh like crazy at what morons they are. I mean... if you can't laugh at morons then what good are they? At least until it becomes legal to bludgeon them to death with frozen trout.

I can't agree with you more. We are losing people in Iraq every day, not to mention the innocent Iraqi citizens who are killed. All people care about (or all our media wants us to care about) is Jon Benet Ramsey, Steve Irwin, etc. Get political control away from the media. We are getting closer & closer to the media of Nazi Germany.
