Need help starting my acting career?

I'm 15, and I've always wanted to be an actress for so long! I'm so fustrated now because I had all these years trying out for things, and auditioning only to find there is some catch or scam at the end!! And I'm at the point where I don't feel like dealing with this anymore. Too much for me now. What should I do now, huh?

Isn't this common? Acting is lucrative--hence, hard to get started in. Even Tom Cruise was not an overnight star.

You are young, and with no "child star" experience, that's a handicap. You cannot even legally do bedroom scenes.

Keep reading for parts, and attend acting school. By the time of age 19 or so, you might blossom. Right now, you are , unfortunately, just an underage minor, looking for work in an adult field.

And don't just sit there idle. Work at some kind of job. You need LIFE EXPERIENCE, to give you the emotional depth that thespians require. And, further your education. Read, read, read.....

Well if its your passion, you wouldn't give up.Try researching your career so you can find out how to spot a scam.I want to be an actress too.Im starting my own Drama Club along with a friend and Im going to perform for the public so at least i'll have some exposure.Don't give up.Try again.

i know what u mean cause i really want to be an actor 2, not cause of the money but because its what i LOVE to do!!! and i have been to places for interviews for a chance to be in comercials and i have made it, but the problem is that they charge 1st to take some classes and thats not right, if they want money we can give it to them after we are in the comercials and making money so we can pay them, but they say no so im guessing they are not serious. but dont give up!!!! im not i know im going to make it one day, so can you, and im 16 but not giving up!!!
