There should be a little piece of paper that has a number on it (it kind of looks like the numbers on the bottom of your checks) which match the money order numbers. YOu should keep this reciept. If anything goes wrong, call the provided number on that paper you should keep and you can track whether or not the money order has been cashed. If you have lost your money order, you can request a form to fill out to recover your money. Good luck.

If you have the stub from the money order the gas station should be able to at least tell if it has been cashed. If they can't they should have a phone # for someone that can help. Being able to track them is why we us money orders.

Look on your money order stub for a number to call if lost or stolen, the company on the money order will be able to track it with the money order number printed on the stub; go back to the store where it was purchased and ask them to look at another money order for the company name and lost or stolen phone number to call.

there should be a number on the back to call, I had to do that one time, it takes them about 2 or 3 weeks to get back to u.
