I have green eyes and I use black eyeliner everyday..it makes my eyes look more defined. I also use green eyeshadow a lot, for some eye shadows when you put it on, on-top of the eyeliner line across your top lid, the green becomes a vibrant green color, so it really makes your eyes glow. I use Cover Girl's "perfect point plus" eyeliner, it goes on really smooth and has a sponge on the other end of the stick so you can use it to smudge for the 'smokey' look. And eyeshadow..I use avon stuff, it's pretty cheap and works well! Good luck :-)

Ok, well first of all, try this virtual makeover:

Then, I would say, if you're only giving me the option of black eyeliner or an eyeshadow, then deffinately eyeliner. I would not say that only eyeliner, though, is the best way to bring out the green in your eyes! You deffinately need to wear a green, or blue eyeshadow, and some browns are also good. I think you should try the smokey eye effect! It makes every eye color stand out! I hope this helps!

I have dark green eyes and i use black eyeshadow just so I don't have to be all creative, because I couldn't care less about make-up most of the time. I live in the boonies and even girls with no teeth can get a man around here.
But I would say purple would be a good color.

Purple shades make green eyes "pop".. Almay makes a trio of eyeshadow colors just for green eyes. I have green eyes and I just use a thin line of lavander eyeliner on my top lid, close to the lash line. It really works.

Use 2 color eyeshadows. One with green in it and a brown for your crease line. Then use a brown eyeliner or green afterwards. Mac has some great colors and they can help you pick some out.

Try purple or green itself but in the right shade, whichever color you choose, considering your skin color. And, underline your eyes with a dark brown eyeliner, ending with a little diagonal line from the end of your eyes!
Hope this helped and good luck. : )

Avon have a good collection of eye-liners. I myself have a blue eye liner and the green one. I have brown eyes but whenever I wear the green pencil eye liner im told my eyes look green. And it does say in the Avon brochure that it is mainly used to define green eyes. Check out the Avon catalogue!

I use a glimmery shadow like urban cowboy from mac or silken taupe from cover girl... something like that. I use black eyeliner along the LOWER LID only... right on the lid above your lower lashes. Never below them. & I use black mascara... It looks really really good. I have bright green eyes too.

Use green eyeshadow (don't use olive green, it will make you look old) and put eyeliner inside your eyes to give them that catty look - - very sexy.
