I mean, they have to appreciate the fact that there aren't any bombs going off all day in local neighborhoods, no suicide bombers, and they get minority benefits too. You would think so, but I sure don't. Most of them that I have met are rude and dislike any other people besides the ones who look and smell like they do.

Woa buddy, I think you need to get out and meet some more people, and not just Arabs. Go to San Francisco CA or Bellingham WA and you'll meet the smelliest white hippies you've ever imagined. You have to realize too that some cultures arent as afraid of germs and sweat and who care a lot more for the environment than we americans. In fact, most of the world is that way.
A better and more important question would also be not wether Arabs in the US appreciate their situation, but do the people who have been there for more than a few generations appreciate it? I would say no, most people there don't excersise their right to vote, don't take advantage of one of the best higher education systems in the world, and don't pay any attention to whats gonig on in the rest of the world at the hand of their own government.

How can they appreciate being in America when there are people who think like you do, what you said is not fair, if you met an Arab that smells bad then I have seen tens of bad smelling Americans and others, people sometimes smell all over the world, and what do you think they look like? they are normal human beings some of them are beautiful and some are not, if all people had the same ideas like you do then I'm sure most Arabs should not appreciate being in America

If they are christian arabs they do appreciate US.Muslims put religion above the law of the land so they do not appreciate US.
