Ooooh, such a tricky one. A few years ago, I would have chosen Arial, but now...Times New Roman? Go with whatever you feel like at the time. Or, flip a coin. Arial = Heads, Times New Roman = Tails. Good Luck deciding. Hope you have better luck than me! Hehe!

The font that most of this page is written in is Arial or something similar, like Univers. YAHOO! at the top left (in red) is written in Times New Roman. The difference is the "little feet" on the letters. TNR is a serif font, Arial is sans serif.

For Titles, Headers a Sans Serif font like Arial Bold is nice and then using a Serif font like Times New Roman is a good combination.

Arial will take up more space/lines than TNR. If you're writing a big paper, use Arial!

It has to be Arial, because it is a bold, clear, minimilistic font, that shows the personality of the author as intelligent, laidback and full of character. Times New Roman, however, shows a complete authoritarian personality, rigid, strict and hopelessly outdated.
