I've been married for 7 yrs and we've been trying for 3 yrs now. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.

You can take the pregnancy test now. Most tests are accurate as of the first day of the missed period. Good luck.

I would wait until your 2 weeks late, only because if you don't, you could be reading the test wrong if it's negative. My friend is a baby nurse and she said wait that long because then your probably apprx a month a long and your test will read accurately. Before I became pregnant, I had a miscarriage 3 weeks prior, and then suddenly became pregnant. If you've recently had a baby, and your breastfeeding, or had a miscarriage, your tests and periods will be off due to hormonal change. I was recently late 2 months and not pregnant. Tests don't come cheep so make sure you wait as long as you can before you get too excited to find out. If this test is negative, and you still don't start, try again a week later. That's what I did with my baby, I was negative the first time and a week later found out I was pregnant..she's 8 months old now. :) But do buy a 2 pack and get a second opinion from your doctor is yours shows positive. Good luck!!

You can take a pregnancy test on the first day of your missed period. I would wait and take it first thing in the morning with your first morning urine. It is more accurate then. If it is negative and you don't have a period in a few days take another test. I took an ept test and it was positive a few days before my missed period. Good luck and I hope you get the results you are looking for.

Most pregnancy tests can now be done on the day you would have expected your period. I think the best thing to do is to get the double pregnancy test and do a test right away and then retest a week later to be sure. Usuallly a postive result is correct on the first test but it's wise to do a 2nd test anyway.

Now would be a good time to take the pregnancy test. If the test says it is positive be sure to go to the clinic and have a test done there also because sometimes the store bought tests can be wrong. Good luck!

Some of the most noticeable signs are no period,
enlargement and soreness of the breasts,
nausea, vomiting,
increased urination,
fatigue.
Alot of pregnancy tests now can detect pregnancy even before your first missed period and they are over 99% accurate.

Next time you're at the store, check on the side of one of the boxes. They tell you when it's still too early. And remember to but two!!

You can take it right away. However, some tests will not work until you are about a week pregnant.
