I believe in it. This question can be religious and also can be sheer human actions.Oftentimes we give consolations to someone in grief by saying what happens is in your fate and for believers, God is normally used as the one who designed our lives.
Another point is that there are actions that we do or did not do to ourselves which may decide what our fate should be.
Most of the reasons why we are in some situations or condition in life was a result of the actions or deeds (or lack of it) by our parents, early family generations or circumstances in the world that affects our lives.
There are times what we wanted to be in our life becomes successful because we worked hard for it or we fail because our choice at that time is beyond our capability to reach due to many prevailing circumstances. There are times things happen to you as a surprise or even greater than what you expect due also to outside influences. You can call everything that happens to you as fate but it does not just happen without anything that have caused it. It is mostly by your own actions or lack of action, often by circumstances and sometimes what we call it luck, error or accident.

Yes, I do believe in fate. Where it not for fate, I would not be where I am today. I believe that fate brought me to the man I married. Considering that we had known each other when we were 16 and hadn't seen or heard from each other for over ten years. It turned out that we had been running in the same circles for years like being at the same concerts just rows apart and not knowing it. That happened a few times. Our familys had cabins at the lake only one cove away from each other when we wer growing up. It was all so strange and wonderful that I truly believe that it was fate!

Try and give your best for anything you do or want to do in life and leave the results to fate [some people call it God].
Do not get over attached to things, relationships , etc. otherwise if you do not get something , you would not get devasted. You would have srength to get back to normal quickly. It sis difficult though.
So I guess everybody believes in fate except those people who would like to take credit themselves for any and every good they achieve and believe that they deserved it..

I think in some ways parts of our lives are fated. I was at work and all of a sudden this horrible feeling came over me that something horrible was going to happen to my father. I could not explain it but every thing in me felt it to be so. In my gut I knew it was to be. 3days later my dad was in a car accident and died a month later. Was he fated to die at that time, I think so.

I don't be live in fate, I be live in opportunity.

You can make what you want of it, take it or leave it. You make your life what it is with the decisions you chose.

You want happiness, make it happen.
Something brings you down, eliminate it.
Life is too short to waste away time.

Yes I do because I believe everything happens for a purpose, even if we don't know what that purpose is.
