Well, everyone knows that I Love Lucy is one of the best shows ever made. But, did you know that at first there were some skeptics? People weren't so sure about making a show about an interracial couple. But, in time people, as you know, people grew to love Lucy and Ricky. I was just wondering what would have happened if Ricky had been black.

instead of comming home and saying "Lucy you got some splaining to do" he would have been saying "Yo lucy, B itch you betta have my money!"

That wouldn't have panned out back then due to interracial marriages being illegal for the most part. The only reason Lucy and Ricky got away with it was because Ricky looked mostly white.
PS The show "In Living Color" had some great black Ricky and black Lucy skits!

I believe that the result would have been the same if Ricky had of been black. People put way too much focus on what color a person's skin is.
If we look back at history - if you could bring back slaves (from that awful time in history), I believe that they would feel that while there still is racism in today's society, these people would be amazed to see just how far we've come towards being a ONE society instead of being broken down by race.

It would of been a hit... there were skeptics because Lucy was not getting along with Ricky ..is cheating..not because of him been Cuban
