The Lebanese didnt fight the Israelis - the Lebanese army is almost as weak as the Lebanese Government. like most things blessed by god it seems very hostile and uncaring of others especially those of another faith.

the IDF attacked the Hezbollah militias (largely possibly completely Lebanese) in response to the abduction of 2 of their soldiers by Hezbollah.

Lebanon and Israel and palestine may holy places, and blessed by god, however I would suggest the conduct of the inhabitants is probably the most defintiive answer that god doesnt exist, and that organised religions are merely a scam perpetrated on the gullable

We have had numerous wars over the years where each side attemtps to claim the moral high ground 0 that god is on 'our side' - in reality its crud. god either doens't exist or doesn't care.

The Israelis and Lebanese, did not fight.

The Israelis launched a savage attack in violation of all international laws, destroyed the infrastructure and any thing that moved, killed 1300 people including, accidentally, one or two Hezbollah. Quite proportional, given that two of their soldiers were kidnapped.

The Lebanese army did not fire a shot in case their rifles backfired and the US stopped any discussion at UN. The EU is picking up the bill because, I hear, the Muslim oil sheiks cannot spare any money, given the cost of gambling and whoring these days.
It is called Pax Americana.
