If you want to find out if a year is a leap year, you divide it by 4. If the answer is a number without decimals, that year is a leap year.

BUT for a year that ends with 00, you have to divide it by 400, and if the answer is a number without decimals, that year is a leap year.

For instance: 1896 was a leap year, 1904 was a leap year - but 1900 was not.

You are right, because in our modern calendar, we never had Feb 30th. On the contrary, we sometimes don't have Feb 29th for 7 years in a row.

There's no Fevruary 30th, is the 29th. And the last time it happend was in 2004; it happens every 4 years so next time it will be in 2008. It happens becuse the orbit around the sun or 1 year in our calendars, is not complete to some extend (time wise); for example every year 1/4 is not done, so every 4 years we add that time that was left out and it adds up to one extra day.

There has never been 30 days in February. Every 4 years there is 29 days in February.

YOU are correct. There is NO February 30th...only 28 days in February, except for Leap Year when there are 29.

The last time we had February 30th (I believe) was before the egotistic Roman Emperors, Julius and Augustus raided February of its days so their months could have 31 days. I guess this means that you are correct.
