It's not a matter of religion, it goes into ethnicity 90 % of jews today are not even related to the early hebrew, the palestinians are. most jews today are ashkanazim jews which originate from eastern europe not the middle east. and religion has never been bases for statehood it's rediculous to think so, how is a jew who is born in france have more claim to a land the people whove lived there .
If a muslim was born in america does that give him the right to go to egypt or algeria and kick off the people who could be christian or jewish . And not to mention it Islam derives from judiasm, many of the original jews that lived in palestine converted to islam does that mean we should kick them out of there land because they converted ?

Further more the jews in palestine back in 1948 were the only jews that could trace there history back to the original hebrews unlike the ones that came out of europe . And remmeber that not only were theree hebrew living there at the time but also caninites and philistines which are the modern day palestinians.
I see no reason why 6 million jews have the right to come from europe and forcibly expel millions of people who've lived in that very same land for centuries.

Again your mistaken the roman persucuted the jews and invaded muslim lands during the crusades, im sure you were tought this in history class. By the end of the crusades war the muslim armies expanded from their military campaigns against the romans. yes they conquered that area in the middle east but all the people there were converted and you must remember that by 1922 palestine had a 6 percent jewish population not because of persecution which im sure in some instances happened not as reoccuring as in europe but because most converted . would you deprive someone of their land because they converted to a diffrent religion ?

So, that means what?

Islam and Christianity both come from Judaism, and Abrahamic religion..besides, living in an aread over 5000 years ago does not make it 'yours'.
Lets just give Britain back to the Romans...or The Middle East back to the Babylonians...moron

NB
Shaggy, at the turn of the 20th century, the world population was only a billion...i doubt the Romans killed 3/4 billion jews, unless they murdered an entire world population several hundred times over

I'm not anti-Israel, but you are missing the point.

Wars have been fought over that land forever, and it's changed hands again and again. Doesn't really matter whose religion cropped up first, because the Jews can't lay claim to that honor either. The human race predates Judaism by far, so if you want to use the argument that the piece of land now known as Israel rightly belongs to the race/religion of people who first lived on it, it isn't going to belong to either the Israelis/Jews or the Palestinians/Muslims. I realize you may be trying to assert some biblical right and wrong here, but the land outdates the bible, too, so that ersatz justification doesn't apply to your original argument.

The land that became the 'new Israel' was carved out by foreign powers. Fine. I think there was widespread support for the state of Israel in the aftermath of WWII. If Israel had stuck to its new country, and defended its borders against attacks as any country will, I think they would continue to have the same widespread support, and the Arab nations/organizations would have been/would be widely condemned.

Problem is, Israel has invaded its neighbors time and time again, taking more territory, and utterly failing to abide by the agreement that created its borders. They have done this with US support, tacit and otherwise.

That's where I, and others, have a problem. What possible justification can any country have for continuing to keep old animosities stirred up, using them as an excuse to indulge in more violence? I know, I know, biblical reasons. That's pure BS. I know a land grab when I see one.

A country/religion only has the power given to it by the number of people who live in it/subscribe to it. The number of people who live in it/subscribe to it need land to live on, spread out, and widen their base of power. The more land, the more power. That's as true of cattle ranching, or the timber industry, or agriculture, as it is of countries or religions.

Knock it off already. We're supposed to be evolving, here.

Give me a break. So Judism is older therefore they get to take over. It is a mess and Zionism is not anti semitic since plenty of Jews disagree with it also.

They all need to give their head a shake and work on a peace deal 'cause its beginning to look like the only way to stop the conflict is to level the whole of ISRAEL (the region, not just the state) so that NO ONE can live there EVER!!!!!!!

PS. This ain't no holy war.

Well to start with, this is not a reasonable argument. If we accept this then Indians are justified to claim this land? Were did the Palestinians come from then? Is it possible that Palestinians are the people who always lived there and were originally Jew, later converted to Christianity and now converted to Islam? The real answer is its not the Jew religion or Jewish people who they are against. They are against the Israel's policies. Peace.

Honestly most people don't care at this point. I'm so sick of hearing about it I sometimes wish they'd just kill each other and end it already. I don't have much respect for people that kill over religion so they get no sympathy from me.

You may be right about them being around longer but I would never use the bible as proof. It's a bit biased don't ya think? I mean the jews wrote it after all.

yes it is a fact that the Revelation was sent to Moses, and that Moses was sent to Pharaoh with good and kind speech to declare to Pharaoh that the Lord of Pharaoh has commanded him to let the Children of Israel go. And for him to acknowledge that there is only One God,and he wasn't it.And God fulfilled His Promise to the Children of Israel, for truly, God never breaks His Trust. So, what do the people who identify themselves as "Jews",claim as religion, and do they all hold themselves to it.Or can they truthfully say that the Text that God gave to Moses is the same, or can they truthfully say that some of it they acknowledge and some of it they cover.Because it really doesn't matter any longer what they, or you, or any other persons' opinion is. The Qur'an is the source of truth, and it was revealed in the Arabic language, and it was sent down by Him,who is well acquainted with all things!-Peace

The same reason Christians don't believe Judaism is thousands of years older than theirs. Judaism is much older than 1500 yrs older than Islam.
The same reason most Baptist believe that Baptist have been around for ever:):) , or that it was started by John the Baptist and Baptist are a separate religion now and was than.
The same Sunny's think Shites are not Muslims but non humans to be killed at will.

I doubt that any muslims say so , else they are bluffers & they simply tell U that they are muslims. In our believes we take that Moses & Jesus are prophets & we've faith in them whether we are muslims Sunni or Shiite . asserting that Allah existed i trust u we are able to declare so because of the fact Allah is the call of god in Islam , so in accordance to our believes Allah is the god for the three religions Edit: WE even have faith that the messages of Judaism/Chris. became into deceived afterward , yet whilst it 1st got here the two the place maximum suitable & a believer could have observed them U r maximum suitable in ur question , yet u basically mis-gained the documents from those muslims in Q&A they did no longer propose that islam is older in any respect
