I have large pores as well-I'm only 30 yr old. What I have found is that daily cleansing and a light moisturizer daily help--just goes w/ healthy skin. One tip is after washing and rinsing your face, use cold water afterward to close pores. BUT my favorites are astringents. These for some reason reduce the look of the size of pores.. One that is very good for all skin types is Oil of Olay or the Mary Kay-I'm sure there are other great ones, those are just the ones I've tried. Or even the old remedy of Witch Hazel.

Just put "Pore treatment" in Google search and you'll come up with tons of results. I don't know which is the best cause I've never used anything like that, although I probably should, but consumer reviews are helpful. If your talking about some househeld remedy, there isn't any. You can't actually perminantly shrink pores, and you certainly can't get rid of them, cause they're genetic. However, you can make them less visible by cleaning them out. Or you could tell her to spend the rest of her days in a meat freezer. That would shrink them (untill she left the room).

i also have big pores.... daily washing is the only way to keep things in control.. but if she wears make -up and would like to reduce the look of them you can get a primer. it covers the holes and makeup goes on better.

you can not get rid of your pores - they permanent. she should do a good steaming of her face, then cleanse it really well and then rinse with cold water to close the pores. A professional facial could help get her started and then she can maintain.
