Not being a drinker and going to bars- I have found it very difficult meeting new friends. What should I do?

That depends a lot on the town. Some towns are like haunted or something and no one will talk to you. In other towns everyone just rushes out to greet you.
But in any town, the best place to meet people is in church.

You don't have to drink to go to bars. I don't drink and have made a great friendship with a couple I met at a bar. Plus, who says meeting people is done exclusively at bars?
Just have the courage to talk to people. The overwhelming majority of people like being spoken to. Don't you like it when people approach you first? See what I mean?

It is difficult to meet good people in new town and old town. People have changed and everybody like to play games or multitask

its not hard just talk to people be friendly even when you go shopping any thing
