Err, umm sorry for using the word "damn" in describing a kid, but she is PI$$ING me off! You know, she doesn't talk directly to me about her damn, err, little kid, but her CONSTANT conversations over the phone and with other coworkers are within earshot of my desk.

I completely understand!! I have the same kind of co-worker and I cannot stand her. Fortunately for me my facial expressions are easy to read and she generally leaves me alone, now=). Can you listen to the radio @ work? I can, and I turn it up everytime she comes near my area. I have children of my own and I'm very proud of them, but some people, like our co-workers, have got to get a life. I sympathize totally!!

You will understand better when you have a kid of your own.
Try not to be jealous. That's the best way to deal with this.
It's most definitely not her problem. It's yours. You have to admit this or you will continue to suffer.
