"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Mt. 5:4

It is true that you have had to bear many crosses in your life. But there are also some hidden blessings for your soul. I imagine that out of your silblings, you are the least materialistic. I bet you are one of the most sympathetic and empathetic souls there. I imagine that you have a greater capacity to love than most, for you know of its signficance having not always had the gift yourself.

I challenge you, before you write your book, to keep a Grateful Journal for 6 months. Everyday, write down 5 things for which you are thankful to have. They don't have to be big--maybe it's the cheesecake you had last night after dinner--and they don't have to be extraordinary--maybe its the use of your legs, but they do have to be real . What do you say?

God Bless! You will remain in my prayers!

Well I don't want to compete with you, but let you know others out there have some pretty tough luck. I am the youngest child of two people who got married because my father knocked up my mother when she was 15.

My older sisters never gave me the time of day and constantly told me to go away. I found my mother attempting suicide more than once, and comforted her when she talked about it most of her life. She was in and out of mental hospitals.

My parents divorced when I was 11 and my mom and I moved to a horrible place and she started partying and I was left home completely alone. I got picked on constantly at my new school, and then got fat... My mother would get drunk and tell me what a fat lazy slob I was. I ran way from home, got locked up, and quit school when I was 16.

At 18 married the man of my dreams, had a beautiful baby boy at 20 and he died two months later. My sister helped to brake up my marriage. My next relationship robbed me blind and abused me. and on and on it goes.

Last year I was crying to my sister that the rest of my family all talked and visited each other, and what could I do to be more a part of the family and she told me "to face it, I have no family" I am a single mother, going to school and living in virtual poverty with no family and few friends, and I left out about 20 years of bad luck in between what I just told you. Just to add a laugh, many years ago I called the suicide hotline and got a recording saying all lines where busy please call back in an hour.

You can write a book, but make it a comedy or it wont sell,You think you have problems but they are not what you think, you cannot blame the past, you can be angry or upset with it,but it cannot be your guide to your future, you must live in the here and now, what you are is who you are at this moment, though you cant change all that has happened, you can change today and thus it will change tommorrow.I have walked in parts of your story and partly in your shoes and i look upon these trials of my past and present as blessings.the knowledge of all that has happened to you is something that some else has not begun(bad or good)and since these things have happened to you,you feel sorry for yourself and it brings negatism.Harness what you have lived and in the simplest gesture pass it onto the ones who need your experinces most the innocent before they have the nightmare experiences you have had and guide them not to be in such a predicament as you and i have lived and in doing so a joy will overcome you bring in a positive outlook instead of a negative outlook

If you are thinking about writing this book in hopes to make money. You must first think "is there anything on the market like it?" and "why would somebody want to read about me?". The world today enjoys a good book that makes them "feel good". There is alot of negative things happing in this world and alot of people hide from that fact. You also have your own story. It's not that original and I've seen worse, and heard of even worse. At least you have a computer and literacy to type your problems on the web.

The plot of your book would have to be how you have overcome the misfortunes in your life.
