I have never been in any doubt that she was murdered. There was the blinding light seen by several eyewitnesses at the time, and so many unanswered questions. And what a coincidence that Camilla was involved in a car accident six weeks before Diana's fatal "car accident". Does anyone remember Camilla's explanation for leaving the scene of the accident? She said "I thought someone was trying to kill me."
I have thought that Charles had her murdered in the vain belief that it would make everything OK for him to marry Camilla and try to set her up in Diana's place but I am not so sure now, given his hostility to the Queen and her staff in the aftermath. I still think she was murdered but I am afraid I now think the Queen authorised it. She didn't trouble to conceal her hostility to Diana even after the poor woman's awful tragic death. She had no charity towards her - she was opposed to her body being brought to any Royal palace etc and wanted her to have a private funeral. It was Charles among others who made her realise that would be a very bad move, and I think the monarchy came within a whisker of being brought down for good in those few days. Killing Diana was a stupid thing to do - she was more dangerous dead than alive.
The monarchy is sliding towards oblivion now - Diana was its saviour but they were too jealous and stupid to see that.

There are conspiracy theories going around this subject and some video clips. I think Chanell 4 made a longish documentary. I unfortunately can't remember where it is located on the net. Do a search on google & yahoo there should be articles and clips on the web which you can watch summing up the events. They say it had to do with " Dody " or whatever that man was called who got killed in the crash. According to tabloid press, a cruel plan was made against her, concerning inheritance and jelousy issues. My view is objective I cannot claim I am impressed by the theories. But a simple papparazi causing it is also not the answer I believe. That car was just to fast for that type of thing. besides they say they could not anyways have pictures taken of them taken because the car windows were dark enough to disguise the people inside. The Dody Fayyed love affair was also know by then. Hence it is questionable if they were on the run at such pace with the car and it was a simple accident. Sometimes however fate does play sick games so virtually all answers and point of view can be right.

I think there is a lot the public doesn't know about the tragic death of Princess Diana, but I'm not sure if murder is the reason she died. There certainly are conflicting things--was Henri Paul drunk or not, was the blood sample that was taken and tested his or not, etc. I heard that Princess Diana was supposedly not pregnant, but if one has to answer to the Queen, I'm not sure what secrets one would keep. I also don't think Dodi Fayed was proposing marriage, as he had a girlfriend, but who knows?
I wish Princess Diana had been wearing a seat belt, as it seems she probably would have survived and could have answered so many of the conflicting things that surround her death. There is also the death of a bodyguard of hers that had several questions, so I think of that as well.

Accident - There were some coincidence though that she was madly in love with a Muslim although this was dispelled by her butler and brother was going to marry him. Prior to her trip to France she had been quoted as saying she is going to shock to world shortly after visiting her astrologist friend and the media had speculated about an engagement or that she was pregnant.
Would this country allow the future King of England step father to be Muslim and Arab? This may have all been true.
Why I say this was an accident is that the day after BRitish Airways concorde flights were grounded due to technical faults the first time in its history, the airfrance concorde crashed in France killing everyone... Was this a technical fault aswell? No it was a tyre burst - a freak accident.

Att first I thought it an accident as I couldn´t believe anyone would be capable of killing Princess Diana. Now I wonder. I miss her and never liked Camilla and cannot understand how Queen Elizabeth gave her permission for Charles´second marriage. I hope we will know soon, one way or the other. Poor Diana did try and warn us.

Accidental suicide.
A murder could have been arranged a lot simpler away from all those eye witnesses.
She courted the situation and it got out of hand because she no longer had the calibre of protection that she was used to.
Really sad, but no great unsolved mystery.

Murdered. Murdered by the paparazzi. I went four summers ago on the bridge where she died under, nearly on her death aniversary, i think 6th death anniversary. I definitely believe she was murdered, but than again, an accidental murder... Hmmmz... Poor Di..

I don't believe that her death was pre-planned or the result of a conspiracy, but I believe that the paparazzi that were chasing her and that caused the crash should be prosecuted for vehicular homicide. You could call it an "accident" in the sense that it wasn't planned ahead of time, but it wasn't an "accident" in terms of it being just the result of a twist of fate - someone's negligent, reckless, and malicious actions caused her death, which leans more toward murder in my book.
