Ad Hominem. Anyone? When the libs don't like what they are asked they either (1) change the subject, or (2) ad homiem, giving personal attacks. Tell me your opinion.

Of course they also will raise their voice and yell louder even though it's the same useless crap coming out of their mouths. The only time a lib-socialist uses their brain is to read their pamphlets or discuss issues with fellow lib-socialist thinkers. And that doesn't take many brainwaves to do that.lol

That's caling the kettle black. Personally they both do it. I have found there is little difference between the two except that the conservatives like to blame the problem on the media. Is it really the media's fault that they're uncovering unethical behavior (i.e. the war on Iraq, wiretaps on civilians without a warrant, etc.) or rather is it their job?

Well, I guess if the democrats were in power they would do the same thing.

ad hominem is an adjective. An example:
Debaters should avoid ad hominem arguments that question their opponents' motives.

I think most people make ad hominem arguments, whether they're discussing politics, movies, or which restaurant to go to. I don't believe it's limited to Liberals.

They have attacked this administration on their foreign policy, yet they have not given an alternative way handling it. Some have suggested maybe talking to the enemy or debating with the enemy. I wonder if we could have beaten the Nazis just by talking to Hitler.

Number two definitely. They give visceral knee jerk reactions rather than give serious thought to an argument. For the most part. Some libs are intelligent and are good for an argument. They are in the minority though.

You are describing repuglicans. Because repuglicans are made up of the most mentally deficient they are the ones that attack or repeat what they hear from Rush Limbaugh, no repuglican thinks for themselves or they wouldn't be repuglicans.

Why do you hate our troops? If you don't support the war, you can't support the troops. Why do you want to cut and run? If we don't fight terror abroad, we'll have to fight it at home.
