my friend smokes marijuana a lot, like 4 times a day.
we were going to have sex but he couldn't get hard, he was also stoned at the time. Does marijuana have to do with that?

Yes it can since it damages the brain's ability to focus.
Hopefully you use protection since your offspring will be genetically inferior due to your (or his) heavy drug usage.

I found this for ya: Marijuana has an effect on testosterone production and other hormones, which in turn can affect fertility, erectile dysfunction, menstruation, and other areas. Also, heavy, long-term marijuana use can either cause or contribute to low motivation and sex drive.
So, that said, yes...it can actually have an effect. However, beside the smoke, he could also be nervous about hooking up with you, too tired to screw since he smoked so much, or maybe you just didn't help him out yet - sometimes guys just can't start going without some stimulation.

Well, though I personally have never heard of it happening, or had it happen to someone I was involved with who smoked, there seems to be a few sites out there that point to marijuana and other drugs such as alcohol as having this effect. From the information on those sites it seems to have less to do with the drug then with the way the person is feeling at the time.

There are two factors here.
Many men who smoke a lot of dope have depression, sometimes cause of a side effect of the dope and sometimes because they are using dope to mask pain of depression.
Depression lowers libido so he will be less in the mood.
When someone is actually stoned it is harder for them to get erect, the same way if someone has had a lot of alcohol it can be harder to get an erection.
Next time try when you are both a little bit more sober and i am sre it will be fine.

Drugs and booze can affect our ability to get it up. A little can loosen a person up and make for a very fun experience. Too much and the rocket doesn't get off the launchpad.
