If you have the transportation means to get to a drug store and the financial means to purchase an early pregnancy test kit, that could give you a possible answer. The tests are not 100% accurate, however. It is not uncommon to have bleeding or spotting during early pregnancy. There are many reasons for it. It is very frightening. If the bleeding continues and is bright red, you have cramps and pain, and there are bits of tissue or clotting, then it is likely you are experiencing another miscarriage. However, light bleeding that turns brown may be nothing to worry about. Try resting as much as you can and avoiding too much exertion. You can not stop a miscarriage, but you can do what you can to take care of yourself. Eat small meals throughout the day, that will help the nausea. Drink plenty of water, that will help the constipation. Avoiding caffeine will also help. Nothing can be done for the frequent urination unfortunately. Reschedule your doctor's appointment and plan now to arrange your schedule and your transportation so you do not miss it.

Have you used a home pregnancy test? You can try planned parenthood or another of the pregnancy help centers. Look in your local yellow pages. Also the Welfare offices around you can let you know. With my oldest daughter I didn't find out until I was 5 1/2 months pregnant. You can have a period while you are in your first trimester it is not common but is possible.

Get a home pregnancy test and test yourself. If it comes back positive then I would call your doctor for an immediate appointment. They will work you in if you suspect that something is not going right.

oh my GOD, I thought I was the only one in the world with that problem right now!!! See if you have a free clinic where you live at or ......go to the emergency room and tell them you think you might be having a miscarriage. Let them know all your symptoms too.

When the fertilized egg implants itself to your uterus you might have some very light spotting or bleeding. However I would go to the doctors ASAP to make sure everything is alright.

Well, can you call your doctor and see if they will let you come in sooner? They usually do in unusual circumstances.
