you know,people who are always friendly are far more dangerous then the ones that aren´t allways so nice and tell you the cruel truth...

If there's no kids involved there's no reason for any relationship with her. My guess would be that she hasn't been able to completely let go of her old relationship with your husband and keeps it alive through contact with you. That's never a good idea. Tell her in the nicest way possible that you are not comfortable pursuing a friendship with her but you wish her the best. If she persists, then you know you really have a problem and will have to be more brutal about it. Get her OUT of your lives! Hmmm...doesn't your husband have a problem with this as well?

If this happened to me, I would get very suspicious.
She is trying to find out more about your life with your ex-husband. (Just a guess).
If you have children, she wants to find out ways to get friendly with them.
Perhaps you ex husband talks about you in a positive way too much.
She is very j ealous of you and is using the old phrase, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Watch out. Friendliness is nice, but she may have a hidden agenda.

actually. my neighbor has a new husband of 1 yr but her ex goes over there all the time and eats dinner with them and his son. I've never seen two people who are such good friends as the 3 of them. Honey sometimes people are better off as friends than husband and wife. I say be friends with her BUT DONOT disucss your marriage with her and if you're sure you can't keep her out of that pasture than I wouldnt be friends with her

Probably cuz you husband doesn't want nothing to do with her. She's probably a crazy nut and wants to ruin your marriage. I would stay away from her if I were you. Also don't give her to much info. Good Luck.

If they were together a long time and/or have a special friendship or bond she may really care about his well being and want him to be happy. She probably tries to be nice to you so that you won't feel threatened by her relationship with your husband.
