I am a first time user and am really loving being able to participate, but the limits on here are just assinine. Sorry, just really wanted to vent about how peeved I am that I can't answer more questions and participate anymore today. No real replies are needed. Have a great day!

I am speaking of the number of answers I can post (nureal1), not the content of my messages.

And, if there is a way to look at the questions I am answering you will see that YES I am truly here to offer my genuine advice. Not a "point" hogger--I couldn't care less about the stupid points. I think that yahoo said "something to brag to your friends about." That is simply childish in my opinion.

I know that you said no real replies needed, but I agree with you. Just as you start getting into the questions, you have to stop for the day.

You must answer too many - I've never ran into that problem. The point being - are you actually answering the questions - or are you one of those people who answer for points with stupid answers that do not help the asker at all. Don't answer for points - answer because you can help. I personally wish Yahoo would have more restrictions and get rid of those people who only answer for points - I want real answers for my questions - not just the Yes/no answers.

I'd be curious to know what limits you are talking about. Besides limiting hate-evoking posts, I have not seen any subject that is really off-limits. As a matter of fact, given that Answers has a link at the top of Yahoo's home page, I am concerned with what young kids might be reading.

True, true...I have gotten censured a few times myself for stupid things. Watch, I'll be censured just for agreeing with you.
I didn't answer the question did I? Well wait until someone reports you to the Yahoo Board. That is more annoying

The odds are, the novelty will wear off, the content will look inane and juvenile, and you'll find that have more than enough question and answer capability.

limits are good, we should all be doing something else anyway (including me) we should be doing something more active. the only time i ever get on here is when i run out of stuff to do at work.

It's to make you work for points. If you want a laugh, look at the leader board...
