lol only joking but i do need help how can i stop my self snacking i am 13 and when im on the computor "witch is alot "
i have to be eating i just always snack on apples chocloate crisp anything i can find i am not fat i am average but i am worry i will get fat help xx

dont snack so much

try ice chips or something or drink a bottle of water

it's great that you are noticing your bad habits before they get the best of you. believe me, it's so much easier that way.

Its normal for teenagers to snack a lot. Your metabolism is higher than an adults because you're body is growing fast and producing a lot of hormones, plus school burns a lot of calories.

If you're concerned that you're picking up bad habits, just stop them. If you know its a bad habit to snack all the time while you're on the computer, try drinking water instead, or chewing gum. You're not doing it because you're hungry, you're doing it to keep your mouth busy.

Also, dont set up the habit of sitting around on the computer when you could be out doing some sort of physical activity, even hanging out at the mall or cleaning your room would spend enough fuel to make it better for you than plunking your butt infront of a screen.

This is the age where you learn how to make and set up good lifestyle choices. Just decide you're not going to do that anymore.

But dont worry about your weight, you would have to be eating a lot of junk food and sitting around all hours of the day getting fat. Whats most concerning is that you're setting yourself up for a poor lifestyle in the future, its not healthy. Your health is more important than whether or not you think youre fat.

ah right, well as long as you are having three propper meals aday. i would snack on all fruit. drink more water to try stop snacking as much. if you want to eat crisps and chocolate which really are not good for you, just keep it in moderation. original hula hoops are okay, they do not contain any sugar. raisins. why dont you go to the library and pick up a book on healthy snacks.
your only thirteen so you are not gonna get fat anytime soon.

yea i think u shouldnt be on the computer alot im older then you but im only on the computer for an hour or less a day which is good i think u need to go find a sport to play or something productive because when u sit in front of the computer your wasting time while you could be outside or playing ddr or something if youre that worried about getting fat.geez.

I think instead of reaching for crisp & other unhealthy junk food, you should throw it out and get some healthy food such as fruit and veg. If it's not in the house you wont eat it, but if fruit is you will. Plus by eating fruit you're getting healthy :D

Chew gum while on the puter, or snack on other healthy things like celery, pears, oranges, etc. Just make better decisions when it comes to snack food, and stay away from the junk. =)

You are probably going through a growth spurt... ask your parent(s) to help you get some healthy things to snack on next time he/she goes shopping. Try those 100 calorie packs. It is really about portion... if you can control your portions you can better control your weight.

its ok to snack but be careful what snacks u eat maybe you should do what i do drink a ful glass of water anytime you crave 4 snack take advantige now that you are just average and not overwight luv ya lots BABY T.

yes baby girl if u keep stuffing ur face u will get fat........ me i just wish i could gain weight im 106 1/2 and im grown.. i try to snack all the time but dont gain the extra weight. fast matabolism just slow down from the food

It's a habit, honey. Fight it for a few days. Do not let yourself do it. After a while it won't be a big thing anymore. You just have to break yourself from it. And make sure you do, too, because, yeah... it WILL make you fat. And quickly too! Been there, done that!
