I am trying to learn politics but straight away I'm confused. Tony Benn said he wants an election not a coronation but he's labour not Tory.

it might be easier to answer if you tell us a few things you want to know about politics.

Tony Benn, i think meant that he doesnt want the media to have decided/ speculated whos going into number 10 before the people have voted. I guess his worry is that the media will sway peoples views and potentially lose them votes. Alot of the papers are saying that the tories are going to win (albeit indirectly) and the media are hacking away at labours popularity by reporting on all these things, which im sure the tories have got things to hide aswell, but its easy to see where the media lie, and who they want in.

Study politics in school or at the library, then rip out your heart and be willing to lie, kill and steal at any cost from anyone and you'll be able to understand it.
