The moon has a scientifically proven effect on water, and when it is full, it attracts or draws water the most; this is why, if you check statistics, more babies are born during the full moon than during any other time of the month, and ask any police officer, and he or she will tell you that criminals and crazy people are more active during a full moon, partly because of the biorhythm of the human body matching the moon, and the fluid surrounding the brain. Furthermore, a human female has an ovulation cycle of 28 days, which is also the cycle of a lunar month. Humans are 75% water, so we're very susceptible to the phases of the moon. Witchcraft and other spiritualities coordinate spiritual action with the phases of the moon: spells or actions intended to produce a result are performed while the moon is waxing, up until the full moon; a full moon is used for divination; the waning moon, down until the new moon, is used for negating or removing problems, such as performing healing ceremonies. Of course, you may also consider the alignment of many other celestial bodies, and even time of day, for this.
If you would like a practical experiment in this, try the following:
1. Measure and then cut your hair (doesn't have to be a lot) the day after the new moon, as it begins waxing (getting full), and let it grow a month, then measure it again. Now, measure and cut the day after the full moon, as it's waning (getting smaller), and wait a month, then measure again. Your hair grows faster if you cut it during the waxing cycle.
2. A quicker, but more dramatic, effect on this same principle is to get two identical pots of dirt and plant seeds from the same packet, any plant you want (peppers are pretty decent for this), one pot during the waxing moon and one during the waning, and keep them in identical conditions. Your plants which were germinating during the waxing moon will grow faster than the others.
Hope that answers your question

It does sweet heart, it does. Each and every grain of sand on the face of this planet is affected by the heavenly bodies and their cyclic behaviour. You see smaller organisms for which emotion is not related to sexuality mostly mate during a specific season of the year. Year is the effect of a cyclic effect in our solar system. Even though more complex and driven by our emotions and intellect, we too have evolved from them and are to a large extend influenced by these heavenly bodies. Its said that the difference in D.N.A between an earth worm and a human is merely 4 percent. And tell me when would you like to take your woman to a beach at night...a full moon or new moon?...you know why

There is lots of folklore surrounding the moon's influence on human behavior. In fact, the root of the word "lunatic" is luna--meaning the moon. It's a known fact that sea creatures feeding behavior is influenced by lunar cycles. In humans, a woman's menstrual cycle is about the duration of a lunar cycle and is believed to be influenced by it. Though I can offer no scientific evidence, it seems perfectly reasonable that same moon that influences the above and the ocean tides could have an affect on our mind and behavior, as well. Hope this helps.

If you pay for anything on this subject, such as a book or a "psychic" reading of any kind, you've definitely been affected.
That's the only way the moon can affect a human being - some other human will try to take advantage of you over its behaviours.
Save your money.

There is simply no evidence to suggest that crime, births, emergency room admissions, or anything elese like that is actually associated with moon phases. The link below reviews some of the relevant evidence, and finds no connection.
Why do people think so? Folklore, confirmation bias, and other things involved in perpetuating myths.

There is statistical data that suggests that more people are taken to mental hospitals during a full moon. They have also proven that the crime rate goes up during the same time.

I would say it's all in the mind. You can't control the changing of the moon but you can control your feelings or mood at anytime you please. But I like the saying that women are hòrnier when it's full moon. :D

While there is a new moon or full moon there are different gravitational pulls on the earth (i.e. ocean tides). We would be effected by that change in gravitation by there being more or less preasure being pushed down on us. Physiologically there is a change by having more preasure being pushed down on us. It is entirly possible for that change in preasure to have a mental change on us.
