You are right, I think these are learned tendencies. I grew up with three brothers. I took a personality test not to long ago, the majority of my personality traits were dominant in the male category. Like in thinking/reason when the emotional side is supposed to be more dominant in the female. Oh well, I am OK with it, just to smart for my own good, and a male feels intimidated. These are the draw-backs, and that's OK. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to adjust my tendencies a little.

Not all traits are inherited and learned. For instance, we can't act, without faking, like a man with testosterone. Neither can a man act like a woman in her cycle. The differences between men and women are there, weather you deny them or not. You're only fooling yourself.

I am 5'7" 110 pounds and I have long blonde hair. When people see me they think I am a secretary or something of that nature. But I am definately more male in my actions. I work on construction crew doing trim carpentry, I love to ride my motorcycle and take the dirt bike out on the weekends. I cannot stand shopping and manicures and salons. They annoy me. My husband and I started out as drinking buddies and it went from there, so it dont seem to be a problem!! :)

Good one! Both. I love being a woman, very feminine, love soft beautiful things, cried when I saw the devastation of Katrina. But I have no patience, when people piss me off-it's on! Cold-****** my ex-husband once with my left fist. I'm not a violent person, but I stand up for myself like a man.

We all have both inside, if we have love, care, patience, tolerance, wamth, sensitivity etc, it is the female part of us, and if we have determination, control, hardwork, perseverence and power that is the male part of us. WE need both in life to be happy. If you are both then you can succeed in life.

I'm pretty much an Anita Blake kind of female--I do what needs doing, but I'm very emotional about it, and like to discuss it afterward. LOL

Personally I'm a human being. I don't even think about gender 98% of the time. Except when looking for a public toilet, or if someone brings it (gender) up.

male, i suppose, i grew up with a lot of male cousins and relatives, and i learned to reject things like dolls and make-up when i was little, i still find them pointless. according to my friends,i have self-disipline, have no sign of a gentle nature, and very little patience for those who undermine my authority. and i hardly ever cry.
