from personal experience having used a couple of nokia handsets and a couple of sony ericssons - i love sony
if u want durability, long battery life etc go for nokia. but the recent handsets are beginning to look quite bulky
whereas sony's got style!! the sound's amazing!
compare nokia N70 and sony W700i - similar features, but better looking, less expensive. the talktime on the battery is comparable too! even my earlier sony model (J200i) had actually withstood my rough use!
go for sony, i'd say
but think and decide for urself too!!

The main factor is the Mobile Network.
Between Nokia and Sony, both have different line of marketing, Nokia goes for its price factor but relatively big n weighty mobiles whereas, Sony expects a premium price(aroud 15%higher than Nokia) for its Brandname but relatively smaller and compact mobiles.

I would say Nokia because they are the creators of Snake (possibly the most addictive game). Oh and buy from O2 because they rock - they have the best customer service and deals...

Hi Gaurav,
Well most people have different opinions. But going by the market reputation, NOKIA is second to none.
But still check urself b/w these two models after all u are going to use it.
Bye!

Nokia..... they have been creating awesome phones for a while now. I still have my old ones and they still work. So durability is pretty good.

nokia has good brand value but is priced a little higher.Motorola is good too considering the cheaper price . I have one which lasted me three years and it is still in a very good condition, no repairs and no batteries changed.
