are you speaking of having your home flea bombed? If you are then I would suggest calling your OBGYN and my advice would be leave the home for at least 48 hours. then have someone go in first and open windows foe a few hours before you go in, also to avoid this in the future go to a local vet and buy frontline or advantage. It lasts for 30 days and all you do is squeeze the tube in between their shoulder blades, not harmful for you or dogs and it will eliminate the problem in the future

Knock Knock is absolutely right. We used to have the Orkin guy come out every month to spray around our house. We had a bad flea season last year and put Advantage on the dog after she had fleas. So they got in the house as well. The Orkin man said he could spray in the house, but all animals had to be out, and we would have to leave the premises for several hours and if I was pregnant, then I should make it a few more hours. He also said that we'd be better off just treating the dog and not spraying the house because it was spendy, it didn't last that long, and it's an inconvenience to leave the house that long. Good luck!

Iam 22 weeks pregnant, but when i was 16 weeks we ended up with a flea infestation.

Its cheaper and easier to take the dogs to the vet, have them washed and treated with a perscription flea killer, and bomb your house with a flea fogger while all that is happening.

It takes two hours, costs less than 20 bucks. The worst part is covering everything, and then washing everything down afterward and vacuuming. But it does work, and its the only way to get rid of them all together. kill them in the house, kill them on the dogs, then you have a fresh slate.

Fleas are horrible this year, our entire town is infested, you can literally see them in the grass. Quite a few of our neighbors have them so bad they found them IN their beds. Its horrible. It will pass once we all get a good cold snap.

Another thing you can do, is once the house and dogs are treated, get a spray for their beds and have your husband spray it on the pet beds. And also, keep the grass as short as possible, flea larve and eggs dont like the UV light. And keep the plants trimmed away from your house.

We're just starting to win the battle... over a month later. Its a major pain. I checked with my doctors and they all told me doing those things was fine. You just dont want to contact the pestecide on your skin. Its the first three months that you really have to be extra super careful of, and you're past that point. Not that you're less careful, but the risk is much lower that the baby will be effected by any accident exposure.

Yes it is safe and the pest control guy will tell you that you just need to stay away for a while, but I think I would just have him spray outside and put your dogs on frontline and that should take care of the problem. Pest control people generally try to avoid spraying in the home unless the ants or fleas are supper bad. Just call they will come out and evaluate and tell you your options.

no longer all of the fleas, as they are going to migrate to warmer components on the canines (ears, underarm, and so on). you will possibly ought to leave him out long adequate that it would probable kill the canines too. in case you have fleas, they are in the living house, too. So, whilst fido comes back in, they simply leap back on. the terrific undertaking to do is computer virus bomb the living house an identical day you're taking him to the groomers (and get a flea dip). Wash the residue off in the previous he comes back in. in order that which you be attentive to, it could take in to 6 hours.

You should leave the house and let it air out if you are going to get it sprayed. I would recommend Frontline for the pets, it has always kept the bugs off my dogs.
