You can always find cheap books. Check for flea markets, garage sales, and used book stores. Sometimes used book stores will give you credit for books you turn in to them. I have bought books by writers I wanted to read at garage sales for 25 cents. A first edition of Hemingway for 3 dollars at a flea market. Contact your local library and find out when they are having their sale of unwanted books. I bought a large bag full of books (some brand new) at a library sale for 1 dollar. And these were not books you see on the sale shelf after one week. Do a little work and you will find what you want.

i think of your question is the obtrusive results of the state of government colleges in the USA. We graduate such a lot of babies that could somewhat study and write yet look to be attentive to all approximately their "rights". What makes you think of coaching is loose in u.s.? Are you no longer attentive to the taxes that are accrued at each point to pay for this undesirable coaching we obtain? What you're able to do is study the fee of attending a private college vice a central authority college and then check out the end result. no longer something the government does, such as contracting out those centers you point out, is ever achieved besides as a private organisation can do it. the reason those cafeterias and textbooks are so costly is they handle the government and none human beings in government ever spend our own money. We spend tax money and too many human beings basically do no longer care bearing directly to the fee. we'd by no skill run our own funds the way we spend our tax money. you're very naive, yet optimistically you will strengthen out of it. we are going to see the way you experience once you're conserving down a activity and watching your taxes or worse, working your guy or woman company. sturdy luck!

I dont think you CAN get books for free and keep them...unless you have a friend who doesnt want them and can give them to you...the library is the best choice, and if u need more time with it...just renew it.

Depends on where you are. Many hotels and hostels (nothing above 2.5 stars i think ) have book exchanges as do many book clubs. Though you would have to give to receive, isn't that the way it should be. Hoarding feeds only insecurities.
