First of all anyone who would do something like that to you is not a true friend, she should have been honest with you and told you she also had feelings for him and if you two are good friends then neither of you would persue him, never let a man come between you and a real friend. men will come and go friends will stick around if they are true friends. On the other hand she doesn't seem to be that sweet or nice so my advice to you is to make sure everytime you see them make sure you look KILLER, then he can regret not choosing you, believe me I have been thru this before. Find a new guy there are millions even right now you are bummed about this.

While this may not be what you want to hear, this is what I think. I think if you liked him, you should have taken the inniative and talked with him yourself. You would have been honest, nad would have gotten the chance to get to know him better yourself. You were asking for trouble by asking your friend to do this for you. Really, while she could have stood her ground as your friend, and not allowed this to happen between them, sometimes people make bad choices. You also have to remember, you can't help who you like. And she can't help it if she likes him, or if he likes her. These things happen sometimes. It is up to you if you wish to keep her as a friend. Try to think of what you would have honestly done if you had been in her situation. It is hard to say unless you have been there. If you can't stand seeing them together, you are better off just moving on. Those feelings will not likely go away anytime soon. Good Luck, and I am sorry this happened. You will find someone who likes you back

Sorry it happened that way. You are not the first this has happened to. Won't be the last either. As a rule, it's always best to handle your romantic inquiries directly. Sometimes when you involve a third party you get this.

As for your friend, I'd drop her. You should never put a date before a friend. She doesn't sound like much of a friend to me.

well if they're gonna go behind your back and go out with a guy when you ask them to talk that guy for you then quit bein' friends with them... they don't deserve your friendship... and as for the guy, you can always find a new one. they are plenty of hot guys out there that are actually good guys too.

Get a different friend, sometimes people will be your friend to seperate you from friends and then drop you. If she stole the guy you like, she wasn't your friend.
