Speaking strictly acoustically, you can strum along to any song once you know what chords and (to a lesser extent) key to play in. Check out some tabs on line for guitar chord voicings to some popular stuff and you'll have fun jammin with the radio.
As for me, I think Blue October's "Hate Me" is great song and it's easy to play along to. To go back a bit, "Creep" by Radiohead is just as fun and to get really old school, "Wish you Were Here" by Pink Floyd can never sound bad around a campfire.
