if u are sick of the heat there... come over here to the east coast... it is horrible... I am from so. cal and would do ANYTHING to go back right now...

All my life I've lived in So. Calif. and complained about the heatwaves in summer. Then I had the chance to buy a home and we chose the High Desert. It's been near 100degrees on a daily average for months, but it's nearly smog-free and there's the afternoon breezes. We use an air-cooler indoors (swamp cooler--which uses little electricity and water in big filters) instead of an air-conditioner and it's very comfortable. I've lived in various so. cal cities continuously for 10 years, from Sunland to Camp Pendleton and was miserable during the heat, so to move to the High Desert and find it enjoyable was something I never expected.

WHAT are you whining about!!! Would you rather be wading through dirty, bacteria infested flood water? Quit your bit@%^ing and be thankful you have a nice place to live.
