The other day i wrote a note to a girl and i was wanting to take a girls advice would you like it if a guy asked you out on a date from a letter

well if she likes you it won't matter how you ask. in my opinion, i would like it, it's kind of romantic when the letter is wrote in the right way.

Sounds cute and quaint, but no. I personally prefer a more direct approach because I like to know that the guy who is asking me out has enough confidence in himself so that I won't always have to be grooming his ego. But I'm 28 and have had probably a lot more dating experience than you or any of the girls you go to school with. So the girls might be just as shy and like it. Go with what your gut tells you regarding the girl, and be yourself. Good luck!

I really wouldn't mind. I think it's so sweet. Not many guys take the time to do something so different like writing a letter. All most guys do is send you a sms. Actually, I would love it if a guy could ask me out by writing a letter.

you can ask her by a note but i think its much better if you ask her face to face that shows her that you really like her and that you mean it about taking her out...

No I would prefer face to face but it was a nice gesture.. women like it when men show they aren't scared and a note kinda says you are scared..

look it depends if u send a good note and if send the noe note whit flowers sound perfect to me but if you just send a note is kind of childest i think its better to aprroch her and ask her face to face

I would like a guy who did that... because most guys at my school dont write notes.. and its easiest if the girl says no.. because its not said right to your face.. so I say go for it. =]

i think thats an easy way out cuz the rejection part is easy. if she says yes u dont have to stand in front of her not know ing what to say next though. so, its a good idea
