You are talented, special, and skilled without having supernatural powers. Try working with those.
Tarot, mediums, psychics, ect. are all skilled con-men using magicians' tricks. I know; I know several.

Just because you are interested and attracted to anything "mystical" does not automatically establish you with psyche powers. However, every person has a certain degree of ESP. It can be developed. I personally find Tarot readings pretty simple. I believe anyone can do it if they truly wish to. It all depends on the amount of detail someone can "draw" out of the medium used. For tarot, the rule is "Say what you see." A good book to read is, "The 2-hour Tarot Tutor" by Wilma Carroll.
Practice with all kinds of mediums, cards, black mirror, but mostly powers withing yourself: meditate, acknowledge yourself, concentrate, rememver your dreams (Dream Recall) try anything you want, doesn't matter the success rate, try it anyway: telekinesis, precognition, clairvoyance.
Don't mind what any of these losers say, because deep down everyone knows that with mind, body, and spirit working together ANYTHING is possible.

Like with anything else, practice makes perfect. Allow yourself lots of trial and error, keep journals and what more. The fact that you feel an attraction for something, in your case the mystical, should already be a hint for you that you should look into these things. Regardless of what others think of it. Personally I think a lot of divination media are utter BS, but they are more fun than a lot of other BS.

The only way you can know if you have a 'quality for reading cards' is to carry out rigorous double blind experiments. Don't get your hopes too high.
