There is no "failing" grade for the SATs. However, if you get a score that's lower than you want, study and take the test again.
Most community colleges will let you enroll without even asking for your SAT scores. If you do well at a community college, you can almost always transfer to a four-year school in your state.
Good luck! You can do it if you work for it.

Failing the SAT is considered to most as the end of the world, but screw them all, take it over again and just try as hard as you can, and like the other guy or girl said, take the ACT, it has more sections in it but its a lot ezier, and if u can pull off even a 900 total on the sats, that will qualify for a lot of schools, youd be surprised

Yes you can still go to college, but if it was a fairly low score, you wont be able to go to the ones you probably had in mind. Also check with the school, some are now getting rid of the ACT/SAT and are doing their own tests for admissions.

The SAT is a test that you have to pay for -- so you can take it again -- as many times as you want. (see link for more information) Some colleges don't require the score (some require ACT score).
Check into the details of applying to the colleges you are interested in -- you might not have to take it at all depending on their requirements.
Good luck!

You can't fail the SAT. Some students don't do well on time tests. If your grades are excellent, you can still go to college.

Just go to a community college first, then the university just looks at those grades and not your SAT scores.

I don't think you can "fail" the SAT. You might not get a great score but you can take it as many times as you want.

Take it again. Your best score is the one that counts. Some colleges don't ask for SAT scores, so make sure you take the ACT too.

I graduated high school with all D's, and I intentionally failed my SAT/ACT! I have no idea what the score was but you can get into a community college no problem, you just may need to take extra classes. It's not a big deal.
