Why is my knitting curling?

what stitch are you using? plain stockinette will always curl. Slip stitch patterns will curl if you don't strand the floating yarn loosely enough.

The knits could be too tight!

I would say they are too tight. I have had this problem many times, so i just stetch the garmet out.
