Is there some risk with using the Internet Explorer (ie: the blue e)? I have SBC, but I think there is something wrong with it, every time I close the window, it tells me there was a problem and asks me if I want to send an error report. What's wrong with it?!?!

hi, there are many site with virus, and the virus can hack your IE browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

all these people saying to switch but switching causes problems of there own there are alot of sites that are not compatible with all these other browsers including firefox that everyone always suggests. there are no websites that IE wont work on. as long as you keep up with all your updates and you have a firewall antivirus and antispyware you will be ok. i only use IE and i dont have any problems. ive tried other browsers and the only one i found really usefull over IE was Browzar which is only cool for hidding your tracks it doesnt keep cookies or anything no record of anything youve done. other than that i feel like IE is the way to go.

Because IE is full of security holes and risks. Try Firefox or Opera.
