Absolutely yes. And people would be wise to pay attention now. The baby-boomers are aging quickly now, and they were responsible for filling the coffers. Families were much bigger during the baby boom, and they had less children. Soon the senior's homes will be full and there are less people to contribute to the pension plans.
Most people retire with very little to sustain them through their golden years, they depend on the government.
People would be wise to start looking at ways to prevent this from happening, such as investments and residual income, which will carry them through their later years.

I don't think that they will totally but a new solution probably needs to be come up with to be able to do it.
