How do you get set up with contract work with companies?

I'm looking to work some part time jobs that deal with my major (Computer Engineering). I haven't graduated yet, but I will be graduating in December. Does anyone know of any recruiting companies that deal with contract work for businesses? How do you get started with contract work?

try temp agency they have lots of leads also run a add in your paper, volunteer
