I don't have teenagers yet, but I would imagine that its much like having toddlers. I've heard it said that you have toddlers on a tight leash and then let them go as children and the real them back in a little as teenagers. I would recommend making ground rules and boundaries and sticking with them. For example cerfews, getting homework done before socializing, chores etc. If you find her disobeying you, give her a consequence. Maybe you could tell her that if she's not honest with the phone numbers then she'll have to loose her phone line and give her one more chance. It's important to follow through though if she lies again. Be sure to pick your battles as well, you don't want to be fighting about everything. Hope this helps, like I said I don't have teenagers yet, so maybe I'm totally off. I do believe that consistency and remaining calm even when you want to yell are the keys to raising children though. God Bless

Delete the second line; if she's a minor, there's no way she can do anything about it.

Copy all the phone numbers and call them; talk to the parents and find out just why their kid and yours talk so much. Get into the middle of your daughter's live and either fix it or really screw it up - depending on what effect you're going for.

Get a shock collar. The kind they use to train hunting dogs. When she does something that she is not supposed to do, just hit the button on the control unit and ZAP her. She will be a good daughter in very little time. It really works. I have the best trained dog you ever saw.
