It doesn't really make much difference when you water indoor plants. What does matter is the amount of water each plant gets. Each species you have may require different amounts and frequencies of watering to achieve best results. It will pay to know the requirments of each species and water accordingly. Good luck with your plants.

In the morning when there is sunlight. That is the best time. It will give them the time to process it with the aid of the light for the best use.

You would want to water them early enough that when the sun goes down all of the foliage is dry. If its dark and wet it promotes fungal diseases. I would try to water them by noon.
